Full residential photography services

The full residential photography services is tailored for the larger historic and more recent residential properties. 

I have always enjoined this part of the photographic industry, often finding myself in some beautiful settings, eye candy for photographers and artists alike, never the less it's always handy to have the client or the owner of the property present as we photograph the property, a walk through the property with a camera and a chat to see their home from their point of view, they usually a good place to start.

We employ professional digital cameras and lighting equipment, stands and reflectors. This allows us to balance interior lighting to match the day light colour and intensity coming through the windows.

We will need go from room to room carefully moving lighting, cables and cameras taking photographs as we go. We will need the power supply on in the property to operate the lighting.

The weather, This may seem a little strange but it's better to photograph interiors under light cloud or overcast conditions and exteriors on a sunny day therefore when you book the photography I will watch for the right conditions to do the work. It's true to say we can work in the rain but it does rain enough to effect the our schedules. 

One the shoot is complete we return to the office to download edit and convert file to JPG format and TIF format. Finally we will put you images online on this web site and deliver the image on a disk.

Advice

Before we arrive give yourself time to clean and tidy the property both inside and outside, please make sure the front and rear garden, drive and paths are clear of unnecessary clutter and vehicles.

You need to get rid of any clutter within the property, small aliments can look like clutter as well, so store them safely in a box, large aliments are fine but not to many.

We will need the power supply on in the property to operate the photo-lighting.

Timing

We often find our selves waiting on the weather to shoot the exteriors but time is of the essence, the interiors can be photographed at my next available appointment, usually I am fortunate enough to be able to photograph the interiors and exteriors of the property on the same day. When we are not able to photograph both interiors and exteriors on the same day, I will arrange a second appointment to photograph the exteriors after checking the the weather first.

We like to deliver the full size images within 48 hours of the shoot completion but you proofs will be online ready to use before delivery, you will receive an email or a phone call to tell you all the information you need to know to access your images.

Keeping me competitive

As this is my favourite part of the photographic industry, I like to encourage to potential custom to use our services, in English that means I pay myself about a third less to attract custom.

Pricing

It is true to say for every hour I spend shooting photographs I also spend in post production editing and preparing the images for delivery. 

We have a minimum fee of £80 and this would adequately cover the photography of a 3 bedroom house and grounds.

Quotes

Quoting has become so much easier since the advent of Google map, So long as I have an address, post code, number of rooms and the extent of the grounds I can give you an full quotation.

Payment

Payment is simple, to be made on the first appointment via bank transfer to my business account or cash is prefered, we will provide you with invoices and receipts. No cheques please.

We are based in Mansfield, Nottinghamshire operating in the East Midlands we are able to range across the central England.
